Sample was cut from a pine panel scrap. Thus the variation in end grain showing.

I had to try one more variation. This one I call my Half Blind UpDn Diamond corner joint.

Apart. Made this from oak and walnut for some contrast.

Together. No glue yet. Fit required a 0.003 allowance on the oak side vector for a slip fit that doesn't require beating it in with a mallet.

Time consuming to cut using a 1/8" end mill. Both boards are close to .72" thick.

Glued Up. Sanded to 400 grit. One coat of Tung Oil only on the outer faces.
