So back in December the Missus had a Thursday night craft fair. I guess this woman in town has one every year, mixes up the category’s, and it turned out to be more of a holiday gathering than heavy duty craft fair. Anywho there was a photographer there, Norman Bedard, who had a picture of a snowy owl that was beautiful. So I bought it, and just recently got around to hanging it, in the shop. I feel the quality of my work has already improved with him watching over me! :)

Owls are such beautiful creatures. Rarely see them around here but I'm sure they are present.

So some years they are around the coast in good numbers. Logan airport in Boston relocates them to Salisbury ( Hi AL) when they capture any. When I have been at the beach in Salisbury for some winter metal detecting, I have seen crowds over 50, searching them out. Was kinda funny, one was following me around, probably because I was NOT seeking him out, and when I was done, in the parking lot taking off the water boots, One of the birders asked me if I saw any. I told where I had been, on the beach, and that one would circle me every so often, He got on his phone, and before I had fully changed, and put away the scoop and detector, there were over 20 cars in the parking lot.
