April 3Apr 3 comment_373936 Looks like it's Friday again folks. Here in the land of "Two Weeks From Anywhere" we had some severe storms come through last evening so I'll have to check for damage once it gets light outside.Other than that I'll be trying to get a little more work done on my project without a plan. Basically a sort through what you've got to work with, and just start building! So if the weather decides to cooperate I might just get some work done in the "Outdoor Shop".Have a Great Easter, and What's on Your Weekend Agenda? April 3Apr 3 Popular Post comment_373957 I'm in the shop working on my serpentine drawers. I really need to mow (way earlier than I normally mow) but it's just too wet. I also need to burn my burn pile, but it's too windy. Guess that stuff might get done next week. There's a local organization with a worthy cause that holds a fish fry every Good Friday in an adjacent county, I'll be heading there to pick up dinner this afternnon. Edited April 3Apr 3 by Fred W. April 4Apr 4 Popular Post comment_373983 I have some peppermills and rolling pins to turn for next weekend's shows and a couple of other items in the clamps ready for planing. unfortunately, but I'm fortunate I had another Meniere's flare this week however it was the mildest one I've had since diagnosis, and I was still able to work my day job. Tomorrow I should be steady enough to trust myself into the shop. Report

April 4Apr 4 comment_374016 I'm about ready to start stuccoing. Got the foam rasped and some expansion joints put on, as well as an end trim thing that goes at the door to my shop. Going to paint on some bonder first, then start with a primer product the yard recommended. It's almost like thin set for tile as far as I can tell. Then tomorrow throw on a couple bags of one coat and see how it goes. Hoping to get the below grade stuff done this weekend so I can paint it with drylok this week and start filling the trenches back in. Then stucco the rest up to the expansion joint between the basement and ground floor. Once that's done I'll build the walkway over to a hard to get to porch (its outside the master bedroom, but you get to it from the garage), and I can use that for easy scaffold set up to do some carpentry repairs in the roof, restucco that too, then put a roof over the walkway and do the last of the restuccoing in the shade.Probably doesn't make a lot of sense without some pics, but it helps me to write it all out and keep the steps straight!
