Another installment in this series. Forgot in first posting to identify the wood, it's honey locust root burl, noted for it's ability to attract Carpenter ants,also being a root it's got rocks and whatever else that could get caught in it's growth .anyway this piece was better, 20260319_154245.jpgO20260324_180711.jpg20260324_180657.jpgAt least you can see the color in this piece. I finish almost all my turnings by sanding to 220 or 320 and then 2 or 3 coats of rattle can lacquer. I call it the lazy way outROFL
