I dyed this one blue. The wood was dark to begin with and I didn’t like it. Rather than throw it away I decided to dye it black and put holly finial on it.

Those holly finials are awesome! Without the distractions from the grain patterns, you can really appreciate the delicate shape!

What did you use for the dye?

Both are quite nice, but I think I favor the high top.

Both are lovely, but if forced to pick I would say the high (I think!).

The high top but only because i like the wood used better
