I don't normally do these one off but one of the lady turners in our club asked me to maker her one of my honey dipper lids. Flatters me because I know it's well within her ability to make one. She also asked if I could burn a celtic pattern or maybe some flowers on it.

As always, the dipper stem is hard maple with no finish.

Lid is cherry with a spalted maple knob. Here is something amazing, at least to me. This floral design was generated by Windows11 "co-pilot". I just typed in the dialog box, "celtic vine with flowers in a circle" and in a couple of minutes it produced this. I then asked for the graphic to be adapted for laser engraving and that is what I used with very little tweaking for speed/power settings. It's hard to know whether to exited for or afraid of these times we live in.

Maybe I can just get a cnc and tell Siri what I want it to do! Laughing Seriously, that is interesting (the design part).

Nice. Your work is always top notch.

I've use it for a couple of things but never thought about that. Guess I need to fire up the laser. THANKS!!!

As always, amazing look. The embellishments are spectacular. Kudos to you for your generosity.

Didn't aim to mislead, she did offer and is paying but I did give her a good price! :)

I would say " you done good " on that one
