Thanks for sharing!" At least that is what the tool has cast on to it..US PAT. No. 94 2-28-11 as in FEB. 28, 1911Other knob is a bit fancier...And, they even provided a small ruler to use..Supposed to be used for door hinges..?Might come in handy to set the hinges for the doors in that Sideboard Project?
March 9Mar 9 Popular Post Very cool find and apparently kinda rare in the wild. Earlier version of the #95.How to use both HERE.
March 9Mar 9 Popular Post Any Stanley 94 I've ever seen is a Cabinet Maker’s Rabbet Plane (or Shoulder Plane) known for having an adjustable mouth and a removable toe for use as a chisel plane. It is a large, versatile plane used for cleaning up rabbets and shoulder joints, with some models dating to the 1920s.
March 15Mar 15 Pretty sweet, a double ended marking gauge specifically for door hinges. I love the door installation tutorial in the tool instructions.
March 16Mar 16 Popular Post Here's my 95. I wonder why they removed the slight extension (By my thumb.) and how that improved the design. BTW, both knobs are identical, and do not appear to have been plated. and yes, this one was made in Canada.
