Monday, I'm home, still getting used to being home on weekdays since retiring a few months ago, but it feels good! Probably the reason I keep forgetting to create the Monday topic, back in the day when I worked for a living, had to be up at 4:30 in the morning to get ready for work, I new it was MONDAY! And I'd get the Monday topic up and live before heading off to work, now, I just forget what day it is!

I've been able to spend some time in the shop in recent days, and while I'm awful with multi-tasking I have 3 different projects going on. It's leaving me with a lot of confusion about where did I leave off with one or the other, but we'll get it figured out somehow. Anyway, I'm putting a finish on a pet urn that I've let go way too long, I'm also doing bent laminations with a vacuum press for a sideboard I need to build. Lastly I'm trying to set up a vacuum chuck for my lathe (while I've got the vacuum press out). I've made the chucks, and I turned a bowl over the weekend to test the set up. But right now I'm waiting for the last part to arrive (maybe today) before I can finish putting it together.

Nice day for being outside- 73°.

Friend dropped off a couple of short Crabapple logs this morning and I had a couple of locust logs so got the chainsaw fired up. Now I have a bunch of sealed pieces that need to be roughed out. First time I ever had a Crabapple piece- beautiful color some blue and bright pink highlights. Hope they don't fade too quickly.

It’s Monday once again… After a great day at the track I am back to work.

Didn't accomplish much over the weekend. Spent some time in the garage today. Didn't accomplish much there either. I may give it another go tomorrow. A couple evening meetings at church this week and a couple errand trips are on the docket. Donut see much happening outdoors. It's either raining, the wind blowing 30+ mph or both; those conditions are the week ahead forecast as well. I need several consecutive days of good weather to empty the garage, clean, organize and regroup.

Worked on getting shelves ready for master closet this weekend . Looked again at the drainage problem at shop door and created a swale to divert some of the drainage away but might have to make it a bit smaller. Will be good to get all the paperwork of the new house done.

Still have some transplanted flower to get in and got to go buy a mower. Funny how things never quite go as planned .
