Shopsmith Miter Gauge Hold Down

This mod replaces the two nuts on the miter gauge that are used to adjust the position of the hold down square bolt. It adds a knob that replaces the two nuts.

Thanks Ozzie for freely sharing.

Pretty slick idea.

That's neat. Can you show us more? Show it in use maybe.

Attached are a couple pictures of the holddown assembled. If you decide to print the mod make sure and use highest infill for strengh. The bolt used was a 3/8 x 1" . After inserting the bolt head into the bracket use filiment melted into the remaining hole to secure the bolt.

You might also notice the mod to the knob that adjusts the tilt degree. I found the knob hard to get to so I added a handle for quicker/better access.

I saw that. Thanks. Cheers!
