February 6Feb 6 When using hand tools, have you ever needed to have your work pieces with consistent wall thicknesses?Well... the answer is using an "Adjustable Thicknessing Jig".Here's one that I made 🙂You loosen the four screws front and back on both sides. Now the side walls will move up and down waiting for the depth to be set. Using an adjustable combination square you set the depth. Then re-tighten the screws.You lay your piece in on the inside bottom, then your plane on the double walled sides and plane.
