Made this bow saw and man is it useful. Pulled it out and with two pushes cut off a 2" tree branch.

I bought a surplus 6 TPI Bandsaw blade from KMS Tools for $4. I used a length of it for this and snapped off some pieces of it for making various scratch stock cutters.

That is VERY cool and solves a question that I had been wondering, ‘where do I get a blade for my kerfing plane?’

I was experimenting with that the other day and tried it out first with a sawzall blade which did actually work but is not particularly efficient.

I have a dozen or more batteries charged in the queue. If I go through all those, I can fire up the gas model, or just go inside, revoke my willpower, have a donut then take a nap.
