January 14Jan 14 Popular Post They have downloadable high res images of their furniture collection, pretty cool! https://www.clevelandart.org/art/collection/search?collection_mapped=Furniture Well, of their other collections too, this is just the one that caught my eye! I wish the Boston MFA would do that!

Did you check out the additional images? Shows the drawers open and the various dividers in them and a writing surface in the top one. I think that is what impressed me the most about some of these images, they show the details that you or I might want to see (like the underside of game tables showing the blocking for a curved skirt and the knife hinges on the folding top). Where I was a little disappointed was in looking for that level of behind the scenes detail on a Seymour tambour desk, but those are well enough documented that I can likely find it elsewhere and in greater detail.
