I grabbed some product called Knottec, its a type of hot glue method of filling knots, just got it, gonna give it a go in the shop and see how it goes.

 

now for the inquiry, ' anyone steamed purple heart, i find the need to do some bending with it, and wondering what the reaction of the product is after drying, any info would be of assistance, have done some of the other exotics, but nada on the purple beast.  thanks to all and Merry Christmas,

Never tried to steam bend it but I have picked out a lot of splinters from working with it.
