I made these octagonal shaped chisel handles on my tablesaw and drill press.

They are made out of torrefied maple. I love hand tools and one of the many hand tools that I use often are chisels.

So... I have some Narex Chisels that I like but not the handles and intended to replace them with these.

Most of the time, I use my Stanley Sweethearts and seldom use the Narex, so I've put off changing the handles out.

But... someday, they'll get their chance and be in their glory! LOL.

Thanks for looking!

A non-rolling shape is a good idea!

Some mighty fine looking handles Rick. I love the shape of them.

Barb that's one of the reasons I made them octagonal. Keep them from rolling off my bench. They feel real good in my hand too.
