All,

Just after making the vise and posting these photos above, I decided to add some details. I chamfered body and jaw edges, sloped the front jaw for ease of chisel work, added some replaceable jaw liners, and some end caps to the aluminum stabilizer rod ends. Here's what it now looks like now. See first post here

They come in quite handy! I can remove them to get extra depth extension on the vise and also to disassemble the vise if need be. Not to mention they make it look better! Lol.
