October 20, 2025Oct 20 comment_363480 Here's a simple home made edge beading tool I made. I used the scrap plug leftover from making a hole with my hole saw. I used a slotted flathead brass screw. Top of screw head was filed to produce a sharp edge. I set the screw to produce the size bead that I want and continously cut a line until the screw shaft stops the cut. It helps to face the screw slot vertically facing down. It cuts better. Then I stick the edge of a piece of 150 grit sandpaper into the cut shot, fold it over, and sand 3 - 5 passes full length until a complete bead is formed. Here's the finished edge bead. Thanks for looking! Cheers! MrRick Report

If you haven't ever tried it, give it a whirl just to be in the know. Report
