Popular Post MrRick Posted October 1 Popular Post Report Posted October 1 (edited) My daughter just had her birthday and as part of her gifts, we bought her a nice bottle of Canadian wine called "Pink Ink" from Vintage Ink. Of course it needed that special box. So I made this box finger joint box out of Pine specifically for the wine. The lid slides open very nice and snug so there's no rattling around. I placed clean shavings around the insides and bottom. When the lid is closed you can turn it upside down and nothing moves. This is an end view showing one end, side, and bottom. Here's one corner of the box finger joints. This is what it looks like when closed. I finished the box with one coat of 1 lb shellac and two coats of wood butter. Thanks for looking! Feel free to comment, ask questions and thumbs up if you like it! Cheers! MrRick Edited October 1 by MrRick lew, Gordon, John Morris and 4 others 7 Quote
