Many people have brought up Grit Automation as a potential source for automating a shop's dust collection system. A basic implementation of the Grit Automation system would be about $1000.

    Kinda' overkill for a home shop. Making something far more complicated and expensive than it needs to be.

     

     Just open the gate(s) you need and close the others. It's not rocket surgery.
