4DThinker Posted June 8 Report Posted June 8 Table top is fresh off the bed of my CNC. Had to assemble to see if reality matches original design expectation. It'll get some maple stain to even out the color. Seems happy to be nearly finished. Only deficiency is that a view from above doesn't show the contours underneath the top. 4D Grandpadave52, lew, Al B and 1 other 4 Quote

4DThinker Posted June 9 Author Report Posted June 9 I guess given the shape I could just call it a T table and keep it. This morning I decided the top edge needed a bevel on it. Made this fixture to slip over my trim router table's fence.... Bearings limit how close to the bit the circle edge gets to the 30 degree bit. 4D Grandpadave52, lew, Al B and 1 other 4 Quote
4DThinker Posted June 10 Author Report Posted June 10 (edited) Beveled edge. In retrospect, only a tiny bit better than a squared edge. Guess I'll settle for a good finish and maybe a round lace doily to fancy it up. 4D Edited June 10 by 4DThinker Grandpadave52, Fred W. Hargis Jr and lew 2 1 Quote
