Gordon Posted June 6 Report Posted June 6 Finally got around to making a remounting plate to re turn my tenons on twice turned bowls. My niece works at a dive shop and sent me an old wetsuit to use as the padding. That stuff is really had to cut even with a new blade. I made a tenon out of some scrap oak and glued in on the back side. Wish I had made this a long time ago, I think it’s going to help a lot. Headhunter, lew, Grandpadave52 and 1 other 4 Quote

I couldn’t find the video again so I just cobbled this together based off what I remembered. If or when I I make another one, I think I will buy a separate faceplate to use rather then gluing a tenon on. Grandpadave52, lew and Fred W. Hargis Jr 3 Quote
