Popular Post Smallpatch Posted March 20 Popular Post Report Posted March 20 Don't go by plans so as I get so far along my little mind starts to think... How to make this one a little different and it worked for it sold the first day of the sale. I had got so interested in putting hot rod wheels on this baby I almost forgot to add the hour hand. 4DThinker, lew, HARO50 and 8 others 10 1 Quote

Popular Post Smallpatch Posted March 21 Author Popular Post Report Posted March 21 (edited) I sold it back when we use to load up things at the once a year Breckenridge arts and crafts shows, This was back when we had enough strength to do things like this. It used to be at the rodeo grounds. This happened in the winter and those buildings had holes through all the walls. It was fun but a little on the chilly side. Then they changed to a big church auditorium. This picture was at a church. I think we had better quality of things to sell back then. But folks thought of this as garage sales and wanted to pay used trash prices. I bought some small square tubing at a metal building supply and welding it up where I could take it part to carry in the pickup. I built the stands at angles so wifes small glass items could hang out a smidgen. The rodeo site shows were about 10 to 15 years before this picture. The last show we did our area was three times larger than what's in this picture. My plans for the clocks was in my head by drawing then up on some 20 x 30" graph paper with 1/4 inch squares .I never built one clock that matched the plans exactly. I've always done things this way. Like the old saying goes, Its my way or the highway. Actually the only job I could not change somewhat to my way was uncle's ARMY This display thing is the one in the picture which is a 53 foot semi-truck trailer that has about 3" solid foam insulation. And for anyone fixin to build a work shop this trailer was delivered for 3200. The inside has white aluminum walls with the 3 inch thick foam inside. I put her a sink inside so she can scrub the acid off the glass after she gets the pictures ready for my frames. Hey guys, if you live where you are allowed to set a semi-trail on your property, nothing else could be this cheap and nice inside for a shop. I'm sorry Terri for when I start trying to explain something all this other stuff is there to connect this together!! Yes, I did get a little cheap on the windows but didn't want to make it easy for the thieves as my alarms are on the door.!!!?? It is under pinned now.
