Hauled it down to the shop...and took it apart..:Cheer:

Compared to one of the other No. 80 scrapers I have...:ChinScratch:

Bolts and the keeper were wire wheeled a bit cleaner..the "Before":JawDrop:

Yep..the Keeper bar is a Stanley SW model:JawDrop:

Gave the sole of the body a ride on the beltsander...then the fancy stones...:Praise:

I tried to flatten the back of the blade...:JawDrop:

Have to remember, unlike a Bench Plane's iron, this blade with get bowed a bit in use...as for the bevel..:ChinScratch:

Was finally able to take it for a test drive, on a stick of Ash scrap..:ChinScratch:

Gave it a wipe down in 3in1 oil, and hung it up on the Tool Cabinet door....:OldManSmiley:
