Tried another one.  Carved each side.  One more piece used up.  Leave it as is or a couple coats of poly?  No stain!!!

    Agree, no stain but I'd recommend a couple coats of "rattle can" lacquer or shellac just to keep airborne particles from settling.

    Some poly will pull out the colors even more.
