January 14, 20251 yr Hey guys, is there anywhere that all these calc links would fit at our Links Directory? I love these links, but they'll be lost to the archives in a matter of weeks and buried down below more topics.

It shouldn't matter, the Links Directory is our warehouse of links, they can always be accessed there, I have seen so many awesome links in these topics, just to disappear into the abyss of our topics, I would never be able to recover them from memory. If we enter these links into our directory, we can always go there and access them. We have the Links Directory, lets use it!
January 18, 20251 yr Nice link, and thanks for it. Although so far all the calculating I've needed to do for my project is taken care of in my CNC software. It allows entering values as math equations. I can enter (1/2+1/4+1/8+3/16+1/32)/2= and it will swap that for the solution. Does plus/minus/multiply, divide, metric to imperial or back conversions, and variables) such as T (thickness), W (width of the project board) H (height of the project board) and quite a few more. When I want a dado half way into the material I can put t/2= or t*.5= and it puts in the solution as the entered value for depth. I use my CNC software to lay out projects even if I'm not cutting them on the CNC because of that great calculating feature. It even has a dimensioning tool and allows saving out the drawings as a PDF I can print out or look at on my PC. 4D
