My last shop, about the size of a 1 car garage (12x27)  Did several sets of bunk beds over a few years.  Saw was on casters and needed to be rotated between rips and long cross-cuts

    I have most of my machines on casters.  Even in a relatively large shop these days, I find it handy.

    Casters are great for cleaning and moving tools to bring in a  car etc, but I rarely do this. Each shop is different…
