Popular Post RustyFN Posted November 1, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted November 1, 2024 I went to our Tuesday meeting at Woodcraft and I always hit the sale table first thing. Usually not much new on there. This week I picked up a Wood River 8” by 1” with 5/8” hole CBN 120 grit wheel for $20. It said the hole was the wrong size. I bought it and put it on my grinder, fit perfect. I looked it up online and they are $180. Steve Krumanaker, lew, Gerald and 12 others 8 7 Quote

I measured the hole and it was off ever so slightly. I called Woodcraft to inquire and they swore that the hole was correct. I urged/coerced them into checking some that they had on the shelf. Yep---the hole was undersized by a few thousands. my guess---Metric versus Imperial? had to polish the grinder shaft with some emery cloth to get it to fit. Fred W. I am thinking the other person had an off brand grinder. It fit mine perfect. DuckSoup, Grandpadave52, John Morris and 1 other 4 Quote
