October 17, 20241 yr Popular Post comment_344391 Hello, I'm new here so I just wanted to say hi and thank you for allowing me to join in the discussion forums. I'm Annie and I'm an Army brat who grew up on the old Fort Bragg in the 1980s. What an exciting time that was! If I may be very transparent, I'm now at an age when my kids are all grown up and my life has slowed down enough for me to finally deal with some of the **** that the Army put my parent through and how it impacted upon me. I felt the need to be with some military people who know the life and would "get it". I was drawn to the beauty of the woodworking and the friendly vibe you've got here. Thanks for letting me lurk! October 17, 20241 yr Popular Post comment_344432 Welcome home to The Patriot Woodworker Annie. Great to have you join us. You're gonna' like it here. Looking forward to your participation. No "brats" here, well except for whomever takes that last donut...and speaking of donuts the new guy, 'er gal brings donuts for the gang. Your day is tomorrow. Just drop them off in the break room on your way in to your workbench. Edited October 17, 20241 yr by Grandpadave52 Report
