This is what one of my bedside night stands looked like after 40 years of wine and water stains. I finally decided it was time to do something about it.

 

 

I sanded it down until the stains were no more visible. I had some Minwax stain that matched the color of the wood perfectly.

Looks NASTY doesn't it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If that's nasty, I'd hate to see something really nasty
