August 13, 20241 yr Popular Post comment_340427 Our daughter and family recently visited friends in California, while there, they did universal studios. Our grand daughter who is 8 had quite the time. Fist, she got assemble her very own light saber at the star wars park. Then, she got to go through the wand ceremony at Ollivander's wand shop at the Harry Potter park. The video of that is pretty amazing, they don't miss a trick. When they got home our daughter asked me to make a display wall hanging for the saber and wand and had a picture of what she wanted it to say. I can freely admit, I'm very happy with the way this turned out. Everything is original. The wood is a soft maple slab I've had in the shop for a year or so. The brackets were drawn with tinkercad and printed with a Bambu X1carbon 3d printer. The lettering was done with an Ortur LM3 laser using Lightburn to drive it and do the graphics. Above is the picture she gave me and the pictures below are my interpretation. Report
