That's weird. Seemed like Saturday to me...but today does too for that matter.

Yesterday was a holiday up here in the (un)frozen  North, so it felt like a Sunday. Therefore, today must be Monday!

 How about we just go with Blankday?

well, we had an "art show" at church sunday evening, just to let others see what you do in your spare time, either by pros (we had some, Santa Fe being full of real artists) or by rank amateurs/hobbiests.  i brought a few small things that were easy to pack up and showed them.  people seemed to like them.

 

cutting board, some bowls, candle sticks, recipe box, wooden spoons and matching box, and 1 of 4 communion tables i made for the church recently. 

at the end of the evening, a friend of mine, Linda, asked me to make her a box.....for her later remains....ok, i've done a few, including one for my wife Linda and me later one (out of cherry).  asked her what kind of wood she liked, we settled on white oak, so bought a nice board today of QSWO, will start work on that later this week.

 

rule of thumb:  1 cubic inch of volume for each pound.  we are but dust, but some of us have more dust.

That is the "rule of thumb" but Mike Mahoney says that tops out at 180# . I would guess over that we are going to have a lot of fat which would burn off.

i'm thinking spiral will leave some interesting marks, but lasagna is wider and will spread the blow out more......too many options....
