Got off to a slow start (at least in my category), but improved over the afternoon.  Not all of these were in my class.  The one with the fish was a second piece done similar to the one he had a couple years ago.  Carved and painted the fish and rocks and made the coffee table  with inlaid figured maple.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

That's some nice work on those pieces. It's been a very long time since I've been to the state fair, but one of my favorite parts was visiting the industrial arts exhibits.

I would have a difficult time judging.  All look good from here.   thanks   Danl

WOW. Some talented kids. Awesome to see woodworking being embraced by this current generation especially with so many other distractions.

That is some fine work all around.  My favorite is the first one however, that is very impressive work in multiple specialties.  That and I like trout!  Probably more so because they are scarce around here, just one tiny stream in which to fish.

That is some great talent on display Keith.
