I want to purchase a new laptop very soon.  I am a Windows and a mouse guy.  I have read a few confusing opinions about the Windows 11 S-mode.  I have read where the S-mode can be deactivated.  I would like to hear your opinion.  I want to be able to run Sketchup and I am using Google-Chrome for my Browser.  I am also using Adobe Acrobat.  What say you?  Thanks in advance.

It's extremely difficult to get out of S mode. I tried to follow online instructions and couldn't get it done. Finally took it back to the dealer who tried unsuccessfully.  The dealer kindly allowed me to exchange it for one without S mode. There was  a small upcharge, though. IIRCC, it was less than $30.
