Clean Armor 757

Featured Replies

All,

Going through a number of videos yesterday on wood finishing, I came across

Clean Armor Technology Wood 757, identified as focusing on table tops.

It is a UV finish in that it dries within two minutes with a portable UV light on it.

The demo is impressive, yet what demo is not impressive?

I have scanned the forums here but have not seen a reference to it.  As I

am building a table and will normally go with what I know in poly or Waterlox,

this sounds pretty interesting.  It is very expensive.

I always appreciate experience and wisdom from this group.

Thanks

I saw (but didn't read) a thread at Lumberjocks addressing Stumpy Nub's new finish...and i think it was that stuff you asked about. He may have a (paid) testimonial on his web site. The headlines i saw all mentioned it's cost so i haven't looked into it.

Saw James (aka Stumpy) video review a couple of days ago. No experience with it personally. James also mentions the cost.

BTW, good to see you posting up again Bob. Hope things are well on the "Eastern front." Post up some pictures of your project when you have the time.

I saw James use a small cloth to wipe it on but on the website they recommended using a sprayer. Also it say not for DIYers, recommended for industrial use. I know a bottle of it way out range for anything I build but sure would be nice.
