June 30, 20242 yr Popular Post comment_338118 After purchasing a set of 3 sharpening stones from Drumone, I decided to build a storage box for them. I used white pine, dovetailed the box, and then painted and designed the box. It has 2 coats of shellac sealer, sanded between coats, 2 coats of base paint, and then a design drawn/painted on the top of the lid. Now, everything is accessible all at once. Report
June 30, 20242 yr comment_338123 Awesome Rick. A really nice score on the stones too. Is there significance or meaning to the design? I noticed the gold dots align with chronological time on the hour while white (silver??) align with the half-hour. Regardless, cool look and an eye catcher. Report

The design is easy to layout with a compass and just looks interesting. Nothing to do with time! Report
