Crappy furniture

A coupe of photos  "on this day" showed up and reminded me of this job.  I had several pieces like this.  They were sofas purchased from a grocery store supercenter. I tried to get the warranty company to allow me to buy new foam, but they insisted on sending out the replacement.  As you can see the padding didn't last long and I predicted neither would the replacement

Chapter 2.
This was a coffee table that had a broken leg.  It was not wood, but hollow cast plastic with only a couple of inches of metal reinforcement at the top.  Fortunately for me, I could order a replacement for less than $20 and didn't have to try to fix the broken one.
