Did you know this about McFeelys?

I'm always among the last to know things like this. I've been so disappointed by McFeelys after Grainger bought them out I've pretty much moved on to alternate suppliers. But after screwing things up as much as possible, Grainger apparently sold the business off and it's back to private ownership. This happened in 2021, so I'm way behind on the news, but still happy it happened.....maybe someday Mcfeelys will become the outfit it used to be. For those who knew this, I apologize for repeating something you knew.

News to me Fred, thanks for passing it along.

Last I knew, McFeeley's it was a subsidiary or Midwest Dowel / Atlas Dowel that's in a town near here, Harrison, OH, west of Cincinnati on the Indiana State line.    Prior to them moving to their current location, they were a couple of miles from my house at the time and I used to go dumpster diving in their scrap bin

Loved McFeelys, had a small store a few miles from us, haven't been back there in years, wonder if it's still around. The store was small, but I think they were able to pack an entire catalog of "stuff" in that small space. It was fun just browsing the shelves.

EDIT: Woops, just did an online search to see if it was still there, it wasn't a McFeely's, it was and still is McFadden-Dale Hardware.

:ChinScratch: For some reason I was thinking Marty McFly. :WonderScratch:

Thanks, Fred. Now I realize why I had not gotten a catalog for a long time.
