April 1, 20242 yr Popular Post get anything done? March left here last night in a noisey Thunderstorm.. All I got done? Replaced a grinder....rehabbed one hand plane.....ate at a Waffle House last night, too... Waited around for Morris to wake up....
April 1, 20242 yr Popular Post Steven, thanks for picking up the Monday topic again, I am taking the day off work to find a skilled care facility for my dad today, the case manager told me last Friday they need to move him to a more permanent location this week and I need to make a choice and submit our request today. Didn't leave us with much time to investigate facilities nor talk with anyone as all the admissions departments don't work on weekends, so I am scrambling today to shove two weeks worth of research and facility visiting into one day I was glued to the internet all weekend looking at and investigating facilities in our area, and looking at Medicaid.gov ratings for each. So I have a good idea what is going on, today it's down to a few visits to those facilities and make a choice. It'll all come together, it always does! Thanks again Steven for stepping up to the plate, and temporarily taking this off my plate!

April 1, 20242 yr Popular Post Extremely busy but good Easter weekend with family all together for first time since Christmas. Today is the final Monday "grandpa Uber aka gruber" service. Concert will be this coming Saturday. Lots of sticks to pickup if the weather and especially the wind will cooperate. Severe weather is in the forecast next two afternoons then wintery mix mid-week. After that, It's time to get the L&G equipment ready. Looks like the mowing season should commence soon. Need to work in an errand trip to "Boilertown" this week too.
April 1, 20242 yr Popular Post Don't know what I accomplished , already forgot everything except Sunday and that was a good day. After services when out in the country for a buffet meal and some fantastic soft serve to top it off. The price was maybe half again what it could have been in town.

April 1, 20242 yr Author Popular Post Had to stop everything in the shop..and head to Dayton, OH....and help get the Boss moved to West Liberty, OH. Green Hills Nursing Home. Was right in the middle of rehabbing the Brass No. 5-1/4....took a few photos...will post later..I'm way too tired for any more shop time...
