March 8, 20242 yr Popular Post Was at the furniture bank this morning and the "paint guy" was there working on the tables. He's a retired paint tech of some sort with PPG. He was using a "water-borne alkyd & urethane" paint. Now alkyd is the usual resin in oil-based paint. He said it's something new and companies that paint over kitchen cabinets are using it. He was using it to paint over Formica laminate surfaces. He said it levels out great. So something new coming down the line. https://www.homedepot.com/p/BEHR-PREMIUM-1-gal-52-White-Urethane-Alkyd-Semi-Gloss-Enamel-Interior-Exterior-Paint-390001/308931364?source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&pla&mtc=SHOPPING-BF-CDP-GGL-D24-024_015_INT_PAINT-NA-NA-NA-PMAX-NA-NA-NA-NA-NBR-NA-NA-NEW-NA&cm_mmc=SHOPPING-BF-CDP-GGL-D24-024_015_INT_PAINT-NA-NA-NA-PMAX-NA-NA-NA-NA-NBR-NA-NA-NEW-NA-71700000108183106--&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA6KWvBhAREiwAFPZM7o2agGhrYArudL3elv-lervtQ9AzDOmDKUFzZNC36WRcDSktGWnImhoC3AAQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Edited March 8, 20242 yr by kmealy
