March 7, 20242 yr Popular Post I had a great high school teacher for woodworking who was instrumental in my teaching career choice in Industrial Arts/Technology Education. These are two projects I made in my junior and senior years .
March 7, 20242 yr Popular Post very nice. useful drawer storage under a bed is a great use of "dead" space, and eliminates "dust bunnies"
March 7, 20242 yr Author Popular Post The drawer under the bed is actually another bed ... trundle bed. Works out really well when space is limited.

March 9, 20242 yr Popular Post When I taught, I had the opportunity to be a judge at the AWFSfair Freshwood Student Furniture Design Competition. 2007 if I remember correctly. It was for both high school and college students. What I remember most was how talented the high school students were, and how highly they spoke of their shop teachers. The woodworking was always top notch and beautiful. Many were of course award winners. Thanks for posting those great projects @prockey. Beautiful work.
