2nd turning of Hays county pecan bowl.  7.75x2.75 about 3/8" thick.  Walnut oil as sanding sealer.  Sanded to 400.  Round of Acks.  Finished with Odie's oil.

    Very nice! How long would estimate it was in your kiln between the first and second turning?

    Typically 4 weeks in the kiln is all it takes.  This rough turning has been hanging out in the shop waiting it's turn since late summer though.
