December 10, 20232 yr Popular Post Back on Labor Day weekend, at the Tractor Fest in West Liberty, OH...picked an old, DIRTY, canvas roll... That had rusty bits, missing bits, wrong bits...price was $5.. Well, the other day..decided to straighten things out a bit....dragged out the "Black Box".. Open it up.. Something like this...looking for Irwin style bits...and the sizes that the roll was missing.. Some of the bits IN the roll were a bit rusty....we have ways.. Those bits that were too pitted to use, were missing the cutting spurs...were tossed in the trash.. Took a while of digging around, getting the best of the bunch cleaned up...and replaced the missing sizes, but.. We getting there....and, finally.. A full set of nice and shiny Irwin drill bits..sizes 4/16" to 16/16" the 8/16" Jennings bit was replaced....the other Jennings bit had been shortened to use in a electric drill's chuck...tossed. the #4/16 was replaced, needed to find a 13/16, a 14/16, and better 5/16" bits.... The roll has 2 eyelets..to where you can hang this up on a pair of hooks on a wall...opened up and ready for use...I prefer to keep it rolled up.. Anyone that carried a "Butt Pack" in the old Black boot Army....well you remember how to roll up those loose, dangly straps? Which is the way the strap is done here...it also leaves one eyelet available.. To hang up on a Screw/ Nail/ Hook.....to keep it out of the way.. But easy to get to. Getting a bit crowded?
