November 22, 20232 yr Popular Post Hello, I just joined this group when I was searching for information on Shopsmith Forums. Been a woodworker on and off for a while now. Built a couple of decks, kitchen cabinets and made a lot of pens. My dad was a master woodworker and I inherited his tools. Learned the basics on his Shopsmith. Lost all of my tools to a fire back in January of this year. Slowly rebuilding my shop and Hopefully will be able to get it set up again when our house is finished getting re-built. Looking forward to reading a learning in the coming months. Bernie Penkin USCG retired Vancouver, WA

November 23, 20232 yr Welcome aboard. The good thing about setting up a new shop is you can get everything just like you want it. Don't hesitate to ask us before you buy as there is lots of experience here.
November 27, 20232 yr Welcome Bernie ! Ditto to what Gerald said. The PTW is a great place bounce all your woodworking ideas off of. It’s sort of a cross between Fine Woodworking and Monty Python Does Woodworking. Great to have you here ! Paul
