I put a closeline in last year.   It has started to sag into the middle.  I dug a hole with a post hole digger to the recommended depth (2'), filled in a few inches with gravel, then mixed up some concrete.  Posts are hollow steel.   Ground around here can be wet and lots of clay below the topsoil layer.   So, any way to fix it or to start over and make a better base?   I have put a guy wire on one side but that makes mowing around it difficult.

We don't have one now, but over the years I've had the same problem Lew mentioned the line stretched allowing the sag. With yours I guess the posts are leaning in? If that's the case the only fix I've found was to start over...a larger hole should solve the problem; but I have no idea how to calculate how much larger. 12"+ at least. I guess you could live with it and use clothes line props in the center. Mom always had a couple of those around for her clothes lines.
