The 2nd floor will only be roughly 4’ 10” but I only have 14’ walls in this shop. It will primarily be used for storage and extra bedroom. I gotta say man, looking through these pictures, you have to know what I am seeing, I am seeing a framer/carpenter that is doing one heckuva a beauuuuuutiful job on that framing! You got a good man on that job there Mark! I'm looking at the headers, the trimmers, the king studs, the ceiling, the stairs, all of it, it's some of the best framing I have seen in a long time Mark, be happy there buddy, this guy aint fooling around!!!! His work is cleeeeean! Everything looks great, I am so happy for you. So do you have this same carpenter for the entire build, or just the framing?

Mark, the older I'm getting the shorter I'm getting, give me another 10 years and I'll come rent that upper space from ya, It'd be all I need! And you'd get some extra income

And you'd get some extra income That’s a great idea!!! My contractor told me it be perfect for a family of little people but he’s only a little over 5’!!!
