    This was FOG wood.  Pecan grows wild here and is very common.

    Wow! Walnut does that here. Often seen fence rows cleared and the walnut used for firewood.

    Lew you are breaking my heart here , What a sin.

     

    Love the pecan . Working on a 14.5 inch platter now and have to sharpen every 5 or maybe 3 minutes.
