As as aside, I have some Gearwrench stuff and I like them well. As another aside, in about 1971, I bought a 3/8" drive Craftsman set with one ratchet, a 3" extension, and about 8 SAE sockets for about $20, that would probably be inflation adusted to well over $100 today (it was a full day's wages at my summer jobs).
