February 15, 20233 yr Popular Post comment_308728 I like to start with a pattern thats kinda blurry so I have to spend half a day drawing my own lines and since this carving will have a mirror I drew a pattern for my wife to cut the mirror to fit the hole I will route in with the radial arm saw I turned in to a machine to hold a router. I never did use the radial saw after I drove 500 miles round trip to get the saw cause my folks said to come get their tools Not quite finished sawing around the outside The lines on the pattern are for the mirror and I will leave that to my lovely for the mirror. This pattern is about the most lop sided picture I ever tried to carve. I won't have to worry about someone thinking I might be using one of those fancy machines.. Next picture shows I have completed the scroll sawing of all the pieces and starting to ruff in some of the pieces so I c I can post them and see where and what I should work on next. Guess I will finish showing the rest of this project over in carving in a day or two. Edited February 15, 20233 yr by Smallpatch Report
