I am trying to locate some mahogany shaker pegs. Any ideas ? My usual source is no longer in business and I can’t find them anywhere.

    No those are Walnut. Walnut shaker pegs seem to be readily available but no mahogany.

    Oh for the good old day when alchemists had a shop on every other corner where you could bring in lead and have it turned into gold.  I'm sure for a lesser fee they could change walnut pegs into mahogany pegs.   :)  If not from walnut, I've seen cherry and oak and birch pegs out there that might be easier to magically change to mahogany. :wacko:

     

    That said I have a small lathe that has only been used 1/2 dozen times since I got it in 1996.  Two of those times it was to make shaker pegs for a friend, and both times they were made from mahogany.
