Baby bed to toddler bed

I was able to complete a project.  My wife, during one of early morning walks, acquired pieces to a toddler bed.  They did not fit our home's baby bed until I cut out approx. 5" in length and a few other modifications.  I had to make one trip to the hardware store and purchase shorter M6 bolts.  My grand daughter will be 4 yrs. old in a 1-1/2 wks.  I'm sure she will enjoy the modification.  Pictures of was and now.  Danl

Nice!  A couple blankets on a stormy day and she'll have herself a fort.  Do little girls build forts?

Great job!   And I'm not sure about the current generation, but both my 4 sisters, and the 3 daughters of one sister all loved making dining table forts and bunkbed forts and Christmas time box forts when they were young.

Nice conversion and repurpose Dan. I'm sure your granddaughter will love it.

Great idea and carried out well

That is awesome!

Now that is pretty darned slick danl

Looks great.  She'll use it for about 6 mos, then be ready for "big girl bed".  They grow so fast!
