December 22, 20223 yr Popular Post There was an old table at the furniture bank this morning. Previously, it had a lot of the finish peeling off. I sanded it a few weeks ago to see if there was any chance of saving it, short of stripping and refinishing. This morning I took in an aerosol can of tinted lacquer and another of clear. I wiped off all the sanding dust, masked off the outside areas, sprayed tinted lacquer (Mohawk Newport/Ebonized Cherry) with a couple of coats, removed the masking paper and sprayed a clear lacquer all around. Not bad for about 25 minutes work. Before After "Spit and polish"
